Wrong button in the set

A frustrating parts issue. The set I received had the wrong button, and getting a useful answer afterward was a struggle.

What a terrible company

What a terrible company. They will ship you an item that comes in a box but it’s shipped in a bag. Of course it’s gonna get damaged in transport and their policy on that is that they are not responsible for it. They tell you to go kick rocks. Beware, if you buy from here they are not taking a damaged item back. Don’t let them fool you with their fancy talk, it’s not going to happen.

Easy to adjust

The controller has been easy to configure, and it works well for PC gaming. Nice to have settings I can change without a fuss.

I ordered some "Joystick Rubber…

I ordered some "Joystick Rubber Replacement", but only got 1/3 of what I ordered. 2/3 was refunded. They just sent the rubber replacement they had without write and ask how I wanted to do.. After contacting the support they wrote that nothing was wrong... I payed about 6$ for the replacement rubber and about 10$ for shipping... Got about 22$ in refund. Who wants an order where the shipping is more expensive then the product? For 16$ you can get a used controller. What I got: "2pcs 8BitDo SN30 Pro, SN30 Pro+, Pro2 Joystick Rubber Replacement (Black)" 5.98$ + 9.98$ (shipping) ≈ 16$ Refunded: "4pcs 8BitDo Ultimate 2 Controller Joystick Rubber Replacement" 15.96$ "2pcs 8BitDo SN30 Pro, SN30 Pro+, Pro2 Joystick Rubber Replacement (Grey)" 5.98$

Ziemlich gute Controller, keine Beurteilung des Supports

ich habe mir vor ungefähr 2 Jahren den Ultimate Bluetooth Controller geholt und er hält ohne signifikante Probleme bis heute durch. Das einzige Manko ist der manchmal festhängende Turbo-Modus, den man aber einfach durchs Neustarten des Controllers beheben kann. Neulich habe ich mir auch den Ultimate 2 Wireless Controller geholt und für PC-Gaming ist der wirklich top. Die Controller lassen sich ganz einfach über die Software konfigurieren. Anders als viele andere, die scheinbar ein Problem mit den Produkten haben, kann ich leider nichts zum Support sagen, weil ich einfach noch nie mit ihm in Kontakt treten musste.

You pay for issues

I have a controller and a dongle from 8bitdo. Cannot recommend any of those because controller has issues with buttons and yet it's hard to configurate it (needs Windows and connect with USB cable - in 2026, lol!). The dongle is so poor you have to pair the controller every time you want to connect it. That is nuts and unbelievable for the price.

Faulty product, batch-wide defect, and dismissive support

I purchased four sets of the Classic Button Replacement Colours for the 8BitDo N64 controller. Two of the four sets from batch 87FF01 were defective: they contained a duplicate button in place of the required C-Down, making those sets completely unusable. Because the buttons are keyed directionally, the duplicate cannot be substituted. A quick search confirmed this is not an isolated error. Numerous other customers have reported the identical fault from the same batch, pointing to a systemic quality control failure rather than a one-off mistake. When I contacted support, the first response was a single truncated sentence acknowledging the item was out of stock, with no apology, no detail, and no proposed resolution. I followed up asking for confirmation of a reservation, an estimated restock date, and reassurance that the incoming batch had been quality-checked. The reply was three lines: wait until end of this month or next month. No commitment, no confirmation of quality checks, and no acknowledgement that many customers are affected. I had planned to purchase two additional N64 controllers from 8BitDo. That will not be happening. A company that ships a batch-wide defect and then responds with generic, minimal replies has demonstrated that customer satisfaction is not a priority. I will not be purchasing from 8BitDo again.

Best Controller I've owned!

I have ordered my first 8bitdo controller (Ultimate 2C) about a year ago and it's been so good to me I ordered a second one in Brown just to have another color and a Yellow Zero 2. These controllers are very responsive and the hall effect sticks are smooth as for the price you can't beat it at $30 vs an Xbox controller that gets stick drift in a few months. I have a few friends that bought these after using mine too I highly recommend 8bitdo.
