A useful repair

They messed up and held my refund hostage

I purchased a classic handheld, they sent the wrong item so refund, however, they refused to cover the postage back which they were legally obligated to given the mistake was theirs. They held my refund hostage until I had to pay the postage for their mistake.

VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE

They are bad with their shipping deadline, as promised to ship out mid Oct but still delay. Also very slow in responding to customers via email.

Mise à part un mini souci de communication avec le support au début tout a été excellent pour ma part : ça a été relativement rapide ; l’économie faite en achetant sur leur site est énorme ; et la qualité des consoles ben c’est juste un peu les meilleurs… donc bon.

They should outsource the distribution…

They should outsource the distribution to people in the west and just bulk produce their items. Had to order numerous times, eventually just gave up ans needed to get the bank to refund me, as the company don’t respond and are leas than useless. A shame, because I really was excited about the product, but the messing about isn’t worth it. Keep your devices.

pretty happy with it

pretty happy with the handheld itself. it feels great to use, and that ended up mattering more to me than the wait. i've come back for another device over time and have been pleased each time; this one has that same fun new-toy feeling all over again.

others that have had bad experiences...

I know others that have had bad experiences with Retroid, but I have never had even one poor experience. I buy their products ever 2 years or so, keeping up with new technologies. I am always happy to receive a new toy from them.
