A disappointing change
Such a letdown to learn there won't be new events in a game I've enjoyed for years. The familiar routine now feels like it's winding down.

Looking at 52 reviews, most reviewers were dissatisfied with the overall experience. A smaller group enjoys the games’ graphics, puzzles, and variety. Some reviewers also describe helpful support, including successful restoration of lost game progress....
Recurring complaints center on progression reviewers say becomes difficult without buying tools, energy, or other in-game items, as well as frequent ads and pop-ups. Many recent complaints concern the end of new events and updates for Secret Society, which long-time players say left them disappointed. Other reviewers report freezing, loading or update failures, missing purchases or rewards, and support that repeats requests or stops responding.

A money trap... At first, the game is fun and appealing. Then you realize you have to pay to keep going. Every move, every game, every milestone costs money. Shameless money-grabbers. Don’t play!
Unfortunately G5 decided to do no updates for Secret Society game leaving players frustrated as there was no warning at all. I had to contact them to find out what was going on. They have said we can still play the game but with no updates nor new challenges there seems to be little point. Players have been left without any new events and i have been playing for Years .very very disappointed and won't be using G5 any more
Unfortunately G5 decided to do no updates for Secret Society game leaving players frustrated as there was no warning of any kind and players purchased various items which is now money wasted. They have said we can still play the game but with no updates nor new challenges there seems to be little point. Players have been left in mid game which is unethical as we have been playing for years and formed a lovely community where help was given to each other as needed. Very poor practice from G5 games to drop us in this way
They stopped the game. I payed for playing and now they stopped the game.
G5 have a copy of Fairyland: Merge & Magic. My issue is that G5 videos fail constantly. I don't care about the adds, but continually missing out on the reward for viewing. The do not have support on the game, even though the videos are clearly a product of Miracle Games. Guess G5 would also deny any responsibility. No Care, No Responsibility, but hey, pay them for no ads. Take your money & run
This company started out well with engaging games, but recently changed profoundly. Ads are constant, so much so that I have to play offline most of the time. And now, when no update came on my favorite game came, they told us, "We aren't going to make any more updates on Secret Society, you should move to our newer games." This was a total surprise to the games players, so anyone playing any G5 games should expect the game to simply stop at any time because they have lost interest in it. They would rather have tons of new games rather than quality.
Because of the major issue below, I am recommended that no one plays any G5 games as they will probably do the same thing to all their games. G5 has left its loyal players of the Secret Society. After many players spending $$'s on this game, G5 has decided not to do any more events, just an occasional fix, if we are lucky. Yes, we can play the game, but with no new events the games will become stale and not worth playing. This is not a reputable company in my opinion and does not deserve your time and money.
“Abandoned,” “devastated,” “broken-hearted.” These are the words many of my friends in Secret Society: Hidden Picture Mystery (SS) have used following the news that G5 has decided to deprioritize our favorite game in favor of newer games aimed at a younger audience. We will still be able to play SS, but the monthly events that keep the game fresh and exciting will be gone. SS players are largely 50 and older. Many of us have been playing for more than ten years and have formed close friendships with fellow players around the world. For some, this game is much more than entertainment. It helps them cope with boredom, stress, anxiety, depression, loss, grief, insomnia, and even the horrors of war. This is a community, not just a collection of players. G5 has handled this decision very poorly: without advance notice, without an announcement on the game platform or its website, and with responses to player complaints that many of us have perceived as AI-generated rather than personal or sincere. Ultimately, G5's decision is a business decision. The company may believe that losing a relatively small percentage of players, even those who quit, boycott, or complain, will have little impact on its bottom line. But that assumption may underestimate the value of this community. AARP research demonstrates that adults over 50 represent a substantial technology and gaming market. AARP's 2026 technology research found that 71% of adults age 50 and older purchased technology in 2025, spending an average of $756 per person. AARP's 2023 gaming research estimated that 52.4 million Americans age 50 and older played video games. AARP's 2026 Grandparent Economy study further found that nine in ten grandparents provide financial support to their grandchildren. These findings should matter to game developers. Adults over 50 are technology consumers, active gamers who invest time and money in digital entertainment, and family members whose interests and recommendations can help shape the entertainment younger generations discover. Retaining the loyalty of established older players can have value beyond the individual player. Discontinuing new content risks losing not only a committed audience but also the goodwill and word-of-mouth recommendations that help games attract and retain players. And what message does this send to people considering investing years of their time and money in another G5 game? Why should players start a new game, knowing that they could eventually reach level 3404 only to discover that it is “GAME OVER”? (We all love and miss you, Sonya. God bless and keep you.) I urge G5 to recognize the value of its established player community, communicate transparently about the game's future, and reconsider whether ending new content updates is truly in its long-term commercial and reputational interests. Loyal players are not just numbers on a screen. They are the community that helped make this game worth playing.
G5 have abandoned players of The Secret Society! Clearly not making enough money from it anymore! Telling players to turn to their other games which are all rubbish and so artificial.
