Stripe review integration

Turn Stripe payments into customer reviews

Invite customers to share their experience after they pay through Stripe. Connect Checkout, Payment Links or invoices, choose when to ask, and let WebVouch send the invitation with your own template.

What starts it
A new eligible Checkout payment or invoice is paid after you enable automation.
What WebVouch receives
Payment references, payment status and the customer contact details needed to send an invitation.
What goes back to Stripe
Nothing is changed in Stripe. Access is read-only; WebVouch sends the review email.

What the Stripe integration does

  • Collect service reviews after eligible one-time and subscription payments, without changing your checkout.

  • Use your WebVouch invitation template and delay to give customers time to experience what they bought.

  • Choose how often to invite subscribers and leave space between requests with a recipient cooldown.

Three ways to get paid. One place for reviews.

Use the payment sources that match your business. Each has its own switch; all use the invitation template you choose in WebVouch.

  • Available

    Checkout & Payment Links

For one-time purchases through a Stripe checkout or a payment link you share with a customer.

    Sends when
The Checkout payment succeeds, including payment methods that confirm later.
    Holds back when
Payment is still pending or no usable customer email is available. Subscription checkouts follow the invoice rules instead.
  • Available

    One-time invoices

For services, projects and other purchases you bill with a Stripe invoice.

    Sends when
An invoice is fully paid, with a successful payment collected through Stripe and a positive amount paid.
    Holds back when
The invoice is unpaid, has no amount paid, or was marked paid outside Stripe.
  • Available

    Subscription invoices

For memberships and recurring services, with a frequency that respects long-term customers.

    Sends when
The first eligible subscription invoice is paid after activation, or each eligible invoice if you choose that rule.
    Holds back when
The subscriber has already been invited under the once-per-subscription rule, or the recipient cooldown still applies.

How to set it up

3 steps, in the order you do them. The connection lives in your business panel.

  1. 1

    Connect your Stripe account

Open Stripe in your WebVouch business integrations and authorise read-only access to the account you use for payments. You need a verified business profile and owner or admin access. Invitations stay off while you set up.

  2. 2

    Choose your invitation rules

Select an active invitation template and its delivery delay. Enable Checkout, one-time invoices or subscription invoices, then choose how often a subscriber can be invited. The recipient cooldown starts at 90 days.

  3. 3

Enable automation when you are ready

Switch on invitations for new eligible payments. See their outcomes in Stripe activity inside WebVouch, and pause automation whenever you need to. Connecting never imports past payments.

When Stripe is the right choice

Choose Stripe when your customer relationship starts with a payment: a service invoice, a membership or a purchase through a Payment Link. If you need to wait for an order to ship, a store integration can follow fulfilment instead. Use one invitation source for each purchase.

Good timing makes a better invitation.

A successful payment is the starting point. You decide when it is time to hear about the experience.

  1. 01

Give the experience time to happen

Your active WebVouch template controls the email and the delay from payment. Leave enough time for a customer to use a product or experience your service before asking for a review. If fulfilment is the moment that matters, choose a store integration instead. Keep one invitation source for the same purchase.

  2. 02

    Give returning customers some space

A recurring payment does not have to mean a recurring review request. Start with one invitation per subscription, or invite after each eligible payment with a cooldown of 1 to 365 days. WebVouch also checks invitation history for the same email across your business, respects excluded recipients and prevents repeated Stripe events from creating another invitation for the same payment.

  3. 03

See what happened to each payment

Stripe activity in WebVouch shows whether an event created an invitation or was skipped, with its outcome. Use standard Stripe test mode to check the connection without emailing customers. When you connect your live account, review the template and source settings before switching automation on. You can pause or disconnect from the same panel.

Reviews you never asked for are reviews you never got.

Most customers will write about a purchase when asked once, at the right moment. An integration is what turns that from a task somebody remembers into something that happens on its own.
