Shopify review integration
Turn every Shopify order into a review request
Connect your Shopify store and each paid or fulfilled order queues a review invitation, using the template and delay you already set in Invitations. Repeated webhook deliveries are dropped, so a customer is asked once.
What the Shopify integration does
Trigger on paid or on fulfilled orders, whichever matches how you ship.
Reuse the template and delay configured in Invitations.
Duplicate Shopify deliveries are deduplicated before an email goes out.
What moves between the two systems
- What starts it
- A Shopify order reaches paid or fulfilled, whichever you selected.
- What WebVouch receives
- The order reference, the customer email and the order date.
- What goes back to Shopify
- Nothing is written back to Shopify. Reviews land on your WebVouch profile and in the widgets you place yourself.
How to set it up
- 1
Authorise your store
Open Integrations in your business panel, pick Shopify and grant access to the store you collect reviews for.
- 2
Choose the trigger
Decide whether an invitation follows payment or fulfilment. Shops with a long dispatch time usually pick fulfilment, so the email arrives after the parcel.
- 3
Backfill and leave it running
Import a range of past orders to give the profile a starting point, then new orders queue on their own.
When Shopify is the right choice
Pick Shopify when the store is the only place an order is recorded, which is the usual case. If a marketing tool already runs your post purchase email, sending from there instead avoids two messages about one order.
Shopify integration questions
Yes. The panel can import a fixed range of past Shopify orders and send invitations for them, which is usually how a profile gets its first reviews.
