Mailchimp review integration

Send review invitations to your Mailchimp audience

A connection that reaches the customers your Mailchimp audience already holds, including the ones who bought before you started collecting reviews. It is in development.

Mailchimp cannot be connected yet. It is being built, and there is no announced date. Everything below describes what it will do.

What the Mailchimp integration will do

  • Send invitations to an existing Mailchimp audience or segment.

  • Reach past customers your store integration never saw.

  • Keep the same invitation template you use everywhere else.

What moves between the two systems

What starts it
You send to a Mailchimp audience or segment.
What WebVouch receives
The email addresses in the segment you chose.
What goes back to Mailchimp
Nothing is written back to Mailchimp.

How it will work

  1. 1

    Connect your Mailchimp account

Authorise the account and choose which audience the invitations should draw from.

  2. 2

    Pick a segment

A segment of customers who actually bought is worth far more than a whole list. Invitations sent to people who never purchased read as spam.

  3. 3

    Send and watch

Invitations go out on your usual template and the reviews land on your public profile.

What you can do before Mailchimp ships

Export the segment you want to reach from Mailchimp and upload it in Invitations, which accepts a customer list directly. It is a manual step rather than a connection, and it reaches exactly the same people.

When Mailchimp is the right choice

Worth waiting for to reach customers who bought before you connected anything. For orders happening now, a store integration is both faster and better timed.

Mailchimp integration questions

Yes. Export the segment from Mailchimp and upload it in Invitations. The invitations that go out are the same ones this integration will send.

Integration details last updated

Reviews you never asked for are reviews you never got.

Most customers will write about a purchase when asked once, at the right moment. An integration is what turns that from a task somebody remembers into something that happens on its own.
