A report I made about a listing went nowhere, and the explanation left me more puzzled than before. I could see why the item needed a closer look, but the decision seemed to come from an automated check rather than anyone weighing the details. That makes it hard to know what the rules are meant to do, especially when listings that look like clear exceptions stay up. I’m not asking for every report to go my way; I just want a decision that feels considered and consistent. This left me with little confidence in the reporting process.

No confidence in the process

The case was closed before I felt the problem had really been looked at. The seller's account seemed to carry more weight than my concern, and I came away unsure what protection a buyer can actually expect. That lack of confidence is the main reason this was such a poor experience.

Not recieving my orders

Selling two air pistols screws and springs on eBay, against their policy. Told them another seller is selling a complete air rifle, apparently okay. EBay AI hasn’t got a clue and eBay is breaking Uk law.

This company does not protect buyers. I have been ripped off by a seller who now lies and is not trustworthy. Ebay do not care and think this is acceptable. I personally do not think their policies work.

Horrendous experience there isn’t any…

Horrendous experience there isn’t any protection for sellers on eBay at all. Many occasions been left out of pocket and most recently due to human error received negative feedback and eBay refused to help. They don’t even look at it like a human being. I listed an item as buy it now when it should have been auction, it was bought instantly. Informed the client, cancelled it and relisted as an auction and received negative feedback. EBay refuses to help. No investigation, no help, no support. So to get it removed you have to lose big money to the client to get the feedback removed. Human error and held to ransom. Very poor service, very poor protection for sellers. Horrendous staff!

Wish I could give zero stars.

Wish I could give zero stars. Ordered books for our Book Club. After not arriving I queried why. Just received refund. Thought we would give it another chance. Books have not arrived this time either. We will NEVER buy books from eBay again.
