The installation instructions were missing, so getting the files to launch turned into guesswork. I managed to open a game eventually, but it appeared badly positioned and the controls weren't responding. For something meant to be playable, that lack of guidance made the download a frustrating experience.
That crawl of a download... Free access felt barely usable, and after waiting around I still had nothing to show for it. I get that faster downloads may be part of a paid option, but the experience made the free route feel more like a dead end than a way to try the games.
The games wouldn't run, and there wasn't enough installation guidance to sort it out. A frustrating waste of time.
Absolute garbage. They only want your money. "Free" download is limited to 5 kbps. Took four days to download LOTR Fellowship of the Ring game, and at the end of it, the download just says there's no file. So it's extortion. Don't even bother offering "free" if you're not going to honor it. No way I'm paying whoever runs this site a dime. Pretty sure my life will be just fine without an old game. At least from these guys.
I downloaded a couple of games. There were no instructions for how to install or run them. I extracted the files and clicked the "Start the game" batch file and got windows warnings, which I ignored. Eventually, the game and music appeared, but it was mostly off the screen, there was no mouse pointer, nothing was working, so I Esc out, with more Windows warning messages. I guess I should have taken the lack of installation instructions as a warning.
I download scaricati funzionano regolarmente.
Paid my money to download one old game; was sent an access code that I entered, but the download did not work. Requested Help from 'Old Games' . Very prompt response from Old Games.com Very helpful and problem sorted. The game downloaded in less than 10 mins and plays without a problem. Very happy with the service and the help.
Tried the same dowload twice without luck, no file on my compuer or in my Downloaded files tab, yet it still used up my 2 free dowloads that day. Waited til after midnight, still says ive used up my 2 free downloads. Feels strange I wouldn't be able to download it until late at night the next day.
