the sculpting is what keeps pulling me back to these models. even small details come through clearly, and there’s a lot to enjoy while building and painting them. i’ve had plenty of kits that felt like a chore, but these make me want to take my time and get the finish right. they look great once assembled, too. not every part of the hobby is perfect, but the models themselves are a genuine pleasure to work on.
Frustrating when rules keep shifting and units lose abilities; building an army starts to feel like a moving target.
Man kan ikke få de figure som er i Codex, man kan vente over et år på gen tryk af figure, priserne er skruet helt sindsygt op. Spille konkurrencer bliver aflyst på stribe grundet nye regler, man må ikke bruge gamle figure mere etc etc.efter 20 + år takker jeg farvel til games workshop.. jeg er dog godt klar over de er ligeglade med deres kunder
Shame I have to give it a 1 star Honestly worse customer service k have ever seen, as a potential stockist most companies can’t do enough to get you on board but no not game workshop. Weeks to get called back, finally get documents, sign and return then get fobbed off for weeks. Wouldn’t waste your time.
Really frustrating to open a kit and find a part missing, then get nowhere when asking for help. The models can be appealing, but that doesn't fix a basic customer service problem. I expected a clearer response and came away feeling like sorting it out was left to me.
models are great but they sent package by ups and wrote ice cream as my country and region i live in like a ork KOPAA VOOGI its spelled Kópavogur
Games workshop is garbage company. Models are ok, but the rules are pure scam. They use the re-balancing to bait people in to paying for the latest model and then they hit them really hard with removing abilities or raising the point costs. The legends nonsense is just pure greed. Just because they want to sell you the new thing they will invalidate your entire army you have spent absurd amount of money and time to collect build and paint.
All in all great company in many ways. I do agree the preorders system is a joke though. They really need to sort this as it's stopped me bothering to pre order anything new and just wait it out.
