I first placed my first order with Solaris after started to collect figures with eBay purchase that you couldn't readily find on Solaris, AmiAmi or proxies, some were great and fantastic, others were cared for worst but I placed my first order on September 30, 2025. Shortly, after placing my order, I was told the shipping wasn't enough as JapanPost wasn't shipping to USA and I had to upgrade to FedEx/DHL, the price in 2025 during height of international hobby purchasing, tariffs and customs clearance with the abolishment of$800 de minimis exemption, shipping was $250 + the total price of the figures & the shipping I paid for them at $150, totalling $1500. I told them I would hold off on payments for time being until I could acquire funds. Then came September 9, 2026, when Sophia messaged me about my order, last time I communicated with Solaris was over 3 months prior. Sophia asked if I wanted to ship my items or they would be disposed, so I told her, yes I would pay as I was dragging my feet and to send link for extra shipping, cost went down to $67. I told her I would immediately pay them, and I did, as my figures were in warehouse storage for over a year. I was extremely happy to do business with Solaris and for communicating with Sophia, shipping went from $400 total down to $217 to FINALLY receive my 1/4 FREEing Rias Gremory & Akeno Himejima 2nd run bunny. They are brand new, wrapped in kamimaki paper, rated 5/5 N. I couldnt be more ecstatic as the cost of them has gone through the roof, like any DxD figures. So glad I put my order in September and held out until I could acquire the funds for shipping, or I would be paying $700+ on secondary market, sorry it took a year to complete purchase and rate Solaris but I would love to do business with them in future.
