Can I choose the components for a custom PC?

Reviewers describe being able to select components and customise their systems. They also find the configuration tools straightforward, with checks that flag compatibility issues between parts.

Can I get help choosing the right specification?

Several reviewers say staff offered useful build advice and answered questions about choosing a suitable system. One reviewer also appreciated receiving alternative options when a part was unavailable.

Do customers receive updates while a PC is being built?

Many reviewers describe receiving progress updates through the build process, and some mention being able to track stages online. One reviewer also received a photo of the assembly in progress.

How quickly do orders arrive?

Many reviewers report prompt delivery, with some saying their systems arrived within about a week. Experiences are not uniform: one reviewer found the delivery estimate unclear because it referred to build time rather than the full time from ordering to dispatch.

How are the computers packaged, and are they easy to set up?

Reviewers often describe secure or careful packaging. Some say setup was straightforward, with clear instructions or easy connection out of the box.

What do reviewers say about build quality and performance?

Many reviewers say their PCs or laptops were carefully assembled and worked as expected. Several describe good performance after setup, while a small number mention a faulty or imperfect component.

What should I know about support and warranty issues?

Reviewers describe helpful support when asking questions or reporting hardware issues, including one case where a replacement part was sent. However, one customer disputed whether a laptop battery was included in the extended parts warranty, so it may be useful to check the applicable terms.

A useful parts check

The parts checker flagged a mismatch before I could make an awkward choice, which saved me a lot of second-guessing. There was plenty of room to shape the build around what I wanted, and the finished PC has been running really well. Much less intimidating than I expected 🙂
