The meal was the highlight: really good food, and the person serving was lovely. It made a short stop here feel much nicer than expected. Nothing complicated, just a good meal and a friendly moment that left me in a better mood, and I enjoyed every bite.
So reassuring... the team acted swiftly and showed real empathy when someone needed help. That kindness stuck with me.

I had a great day out with plenty of shops and food choices, and being indoors was ideal in bad weather. It was busy, though, and some areas felt dated.
It could be so much better some nice shops a lot of empty units , lifts out of order for weeks toilets disgusting people smoking or vaping inside and at doors and now dogs walking around no one about to raise this with but then walking past staff who do nothing ! The place has gone to the dogs

At the galleries M&S they have scan and shop guns. What happens if you don’t want to use your phone. Why do we not have them when it’s smaller at the galleries we should get some.
This review is more about the car parks, I went shopping for the day here and as usual loved the experience with friends , but when I got back to my car , the person that was parked next to me when I parked my car in the morning , damaged my car so badly , scratch down the passenger side with their blue paint off their car, it, all dinted as well , the scratches were down to the metal , what they did when they reversed out I haven’t got a clue , and drove off . I have now got to pay the body shop £350 to get a 3year old car fixed , beware who you are parked next to .

Been to the metrocentre several times over the years travelling firstly from edinburgh then from Carlisle. Over the last few years , the choice , the number of closed units and units filled with Offices and NHS places instead of shops has multiplied. I dislike shopping at the best of times but at certain times Birthdays , christmas etc I have no choice , I try my best not to just shop online but its crap places like this that drive me back online. I wont be back
