This is the only thing in my life that I’ve kept for so many years

This is the only thing in my life that I’ve kept for so many years. Under the pretext of buying an ergonomic chair for my newly diagnosed scoliosis, my mother bought me a GT Omega gaming chair. I expected it to last a long time, but I didn’t expect it to last a lifetime. I think I was around 13 or 14 when I got it. I’m 27 now. It has seen so many different versions of me, different people, partners, families, and businesses. It has seen my long, sleepless nights spent learning. It has seen me cry, seen me through my surgeries, and witnessed my happiness and growth. I can’t tell you how many times my room has been redecorated, but not once have I replaced my chair. It doesn’t even fit in with my latest room design, but I’ve still kept it because nothing on it has ever broken apart from the elastic on the cushion. Back then, the price felt like a million pounds to me. Now, it feels like nothing, but the inner child in me still sees it as an expensive, high-end piece of furniture, and I’ll keep taking good care of it. Thank you for standing by me throughout my life. I honestly can’t think of anything else I’ve held on to from my childhood or teenage years. In a weird way, this chair is my best friend. I’m so happy I got it. I’ll probably have to replace it with a newer one someday, but I hope they bring back the old chairs so I can buy an exact replica. It cost around £170.

Carefully packed

Ok this is my first ever aluminium…

Ok this is my first ever aluminium profile and from the off I can tell you that this is bomb proof with my R12 moza setup... Packaging and delivery.. I can't fault the packaging as everything was very well packed. This being such a large and heavy purchase don't be surprised that it comes in X3 or X4 different packages and takes a few days for everything to arrive. This is down to DHL and the way they ship. No dramas just be patient. Ease of the build... Being my first ever aluminium build I was pleasantly surprised how straightforward it was. No paper instructions just scan a QR code and cast them to your TV big screen but very easy to read and understand. After doing over 4 weeks of extensive research i found that GT Omega where by far the very best bang for buck out there. Black Friday deals = no brainer if you've been on the fence about buying a GT Omega Prime Lite take it from me guys you won't be disappointed. One very happy customer.

A really solid feel

They use dhl ecomm

They use dhl ecomm. The chances of You receiving Your purchase are close to none. And it’s a real shame, because they are not a bad company. I did have a chat with customer service, I have explained this before - Dhlecom is not fit for the purpose, they insisted on using them anyway. DHL lost the parcel. Your loss, there are other sim racing shops around

Prime light

I brought a gt omega prime light and rs12 seat,delivery was OK dx was the courier one of the boxes was slightly damaged but the product was fine. The cockpit and seat are great very adjustable and stable, the only problems are the instructions on how to put it together the cockpit wasn't to bad but trying to but the sliders on the was a nightmare there's no instructions just a YouTube video which isnt easy to follow. I had to watch it about 6 times and put it together wrong but once i figured it out the rest of the build went OK, this is the only reason I gave it 3 stars with clearer instructions it would have been 5 stars

Seat bracket sheered off

I ordered the ART cockpit and the metal on the seat bracket sheered off. When I contacted the company they agreed to that shouldn't happen so would 'look in the warehouse for a replacement part and get back to me ASAP.' Fair enough these things happen. Took a day or so for someone to be bothered to look in the warehouse for the part after I emailed a few hours later asking for an update. I asked for it to be a fast delivery as they only have one option they said it was already shipped out. That was thursday, by monday still no part. Not the end of the world its a first world problem. But if your product has a catastrophic failure id expect a bit more urgency to get it resolved.
