Misleading product info and product damaged

Review for "woodentoyshop.co.uk". Product arrived with lots of chips and defects and was majority MDF when they claimed it was wood. Not very responsive customer service and not willing to give a partial refund. Aggressive return policy too where if you're not in to receive the package you are charged £9.50 but this didn't happen with us. Only good part was it arrived quickly.

I was sooo worried after reading some bad reviews that my order wasn't going to arrive or something would be wrong with it and they wouldn't rectify it. But, I ordered only 3 days ago, it's arrived this morning and I have absolutely no complaints! I have a very happy boy 💙

Just buy from Amazon

I ordered some items for my niece's birthday, unfortunately this company uses Yodel (who are notoriously bad) and the item was delivered to a public place and subsequently stolen. The company have been very limited in their response to this and I have done most of the chasing. To this day I am still without the items and £35 quid out of pocket. I originally used this company to avoid using big corporations e.g. Amazon but my advice sadly would be to use the big corporation! They have a better delivery success and are actually more willing to help resolve your problems if any arise. EDIT: They have kindly responded and offered me a refund for the items which I am appreciative of. I have increased the star rating to reflect this.

Overall was not impressed with their customer service following an item arriving damaged. Would not shop with this company again or recommend them to family and friends. Luckily lots of choice of retailers online with better customer service. 2 stars given for speed of delivery and response time to email.

Amazing!!

I ordered a big order of wooden play food. Order arrived a few days later but one small item was missing. I messaged the company through their website asking for it to be sent or refunded. Within a couple of hours I received an email saying it would be sent out that day. The following morning I received the missing item. Cannot fault the company at all. I was worried about ordering due to multiple negative reviews I read but my experience was far from negative! Will definitely order from them again when needed and would recommend them to others!
