ugh, the game patch left my server on the older build, and restarting it didn't sort things out. i sent in a support request but got no useful fix, so we couldn't get back to playing when we wanted. that made the whole setup feel like more hassle than it should be.
Every time there's a game updates, the server doesn't seems to update to the latest versions and they took a long time to solve the issues, every time. And the supports didn't help either. Tickets? A joke.
My ARK server runs smoothly, and the latency is fine for playing. Getting files through FTP was a bit of a nuisance since it took a while and dropped the connection now and then, but the game itself has been dependable for me so far.

Rented a soulmask server. The game updated but the server is still working with the older version of the game. We restarted several times the server and it doesnt update to the newest version. I sent a ticket to support and nobody replied or fixed the problem. And i think the RAM is fake....when the server started it said 9GB of 12GB used...no mods, no players inside the game. Dont waste your money and time.

windrose server wont even start. support takes 3+ days to reply. they dont even know how windrose servers runs. save your time and money
Everything seems work fine to me, my ARK server run smoothly, latency is acceptable. The downside is customers support is slow and unreliable, most of my ticket need to be sent a second time to receive a response. FTP server take quite a long time to setup and disconnect regularly.
I rented a 3gb ram server and it finished quickly so i decided to upgrade to 6gb and guess what, when first joined the server without any mods the gb went from 0 to 5.83/6gb ram very bad server scam
