Absolutely atrocious

Absolutely atrocious , unfortunately I can’t give 0 stars but would if I could it took over 13 months for them to send the item I ordered , they kept changing the date back by a month with notifications saying it was delayed , I complained and asked for the voucher money to be released so I could buy other things but they did not acknowledge it, until eventually they deigned to sent it 13 months later at that point I did get an apology after demanding it,which was ok but not particularly heartfelt and got my parcel , that was also rather complicated but I won’t get into that here , bottom line I will never order from forbidden planet again and would advise against for others, having seen this review they have now sent me a message saying they are sorry and to contact them , which is a bit late as they ignored my previous attempts to contact me, and I’m loathe to contact in case they temp me with something to take down the review , which I will not do as I have more integrity than that

a useful reply

the reply to my small query came quickly, which was a relief. my books also turned up in excellent shape, packed with care. nothing complicated about it; the whole experience felt considerate, and it was nice not to have to chase for an answer. i'd happily use that kind of service again.

Never again

Ordered a limited edition comic from them. Received an email saying my order had been dispatched. Waited for a week and as my order had not arrived I emailed them for an update. They then inform that I would not receive my order as they didn't have the said item. Why would they tell me it was dispatched if they didn't have it? By the time I found this out it was too late to get it from anywhere else. Will not be using them again! UPDATE FP have emailed myself stating that the package was sent out but without tracking and must have got lost whilst in delivery. They have given me a £5 voucher to spend online and a refund.

I always buy my comics from forbidden planet and the the website is super easy to use snd their service is amazing if i did have to critique one thing is that they take ages to charge your account thus leading to longer waiting times for your comics so if they manage to fix that i would defo give a 5/5

Trustable.

Still waiting for the RI cover but it's always sent later than he A and B covers. So far service is great though they're sent the day after release but I can wait almost a week for delivery. Just one little comment, I hate when the comics are put in the bag upside down. I pick the comics up, up the right way and they fall out. Other than that there's nothing wrong with the service. The RI covers of comics are often the cheapest too, though you have to be quick within the hour sometimes.
