Almost 4 years of waiting for Chained Echoes. I'm taking legal action.

I've been waiting almost FOUR YEARS for my Chained Echoes preorder, which I placed and paid for in December 2022. At this point, it's no longer about the €103 I paid. It's about the principle. Despite multiple emails, repeated delays, and countless excuses, I have still received nothing. In September 2026, I finally requested a cancellation and full refund. No response. No refund. Nothing. I have now formally withdrawn from the purchase contract and given First Press Games a final deadline of October 25, 2026, to return my money. If they fail to do so, I intend to take the following legal steps under German law: Official payment order (Mahnbescheid): I will initiate legal proceedings through the German courts, initially costing me €38. Civil court proceedings: If First Press Games contests my claim, I am prepared to pursue the matter in court, with an additional €82 in court fees. Enforcement proceedings (Zwangsvollstreckung): If I obtain an enforceable court order and they still refuse to pay, I will pursue enforcement measures, potentially including seizure of company bank accounts. I have extensive documentation, including my original PayPal payment confirmation, correspondence acknowledging the delays, and my formal cancellation and refund requests. I am confident in the evidence supporting my claim. I fully understand that I could end up spending more on legal proceedings than the original purchase was worth. I also understand that even winning a court case doesn't guarantee that I will recover my money. But I am willing to take that risk. A company should not be able to accept payment for a product, fail to deliver it for almost four years, and then simply ignore customers who request their money back. This is no longer about €103. It's about holding a company accountable for its contractual obligations. I will update this review as the legal process progresses.

Goodboy Galaxy Kickstarter order

Goodboy Galaxy Kickstarter order – paid in 2023, still unresolved I backed the Goodboy Galaxy Kickstarter and was given a code to redeem my physical GBA reward through First Press Games. I placed the order for the Goodboy Galaxy GBA EU Regular Edition. The €54.99 game price was covered by the Kickstarter code, but I paid First Press Games €8.99 for shipping in 2023. The order was never fulfilled. The Goodboy Galaxy developers subsequently ended their relationship with First Press Games and arranged alternative fulfilment for Kickstarter backers. I have therefore asked First Press Games to refund the €8.99 I paid for shipping/fulfilment. I am still trying to obtain that refund and have had difficulty getting a satisfactory response from First Press Games. Three years after paying the shipping charge, I still do not have the order or my money back. I have retained the original order confirmation and proof of payment and have now raised the matter with Consumerline. My review is based on my own experience and the documented history of my order.

This company is a scam. They sell games they don’t ship. I bought a game in 2022 and have still not got it in 2026. They don’t respond to the multiple mails I sent.

Order never arrived and support stopped responding

I placed an order and waited far beyond the expected delivery period, but nothing was shipped. I contacted support several times and received no meaningful response. My refund requests were also ignored, leaving me without the product or a clear resolution. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend ordering here.
