PayPal review integration
Ask for a review after a PayPal transaction
A connection that reads completed PayPal transactions and sends a review invitation for each one, for businesses that take payment through PayPal rather than through a shop platform. It is in development.
PayPal cannot be connected yet. It is being built, and there is no announced date. Everything below describes what it will do.
See what works todayWhat the PayPal integration will do
Send an invitation for each completed PayPal transaction.
Reach customers who pay through PayPal without going through a checkout you control.
Reuse the template and delay set in Invitations.
What moves between the two systems
- What starts it
- A PayPal transaction completes.
- What WebVouch receives
- The transaction reference, the payer email and the transaction date.
- What goes back to PayPal
- Nothing is written back to PayPal.
How it will work
- 1
Connect the PayPal account
Authorise the account whose transactions should trigger invitations.
- 2
Choose which transactions count
Not every payment is a purchase worth asking about. The connection lets you exclude the ones that are not.
- 3
Let invitations follow payments
Completed transactions queue an invitation on your usual schedule.
What you can do before PayPal ships
If your checkout runs on Shopify, WooCommerce or PrestaShop, connect that instead. It sees the same orders and it is available now. For a custom checkout, the JavaScript snippet on your confirmation page or a call to the API from your backend sends the same invitation today.
When PayPal is the right choice
Worth waiting for only when PayPal is the only record of the sale. If the payment runs through a shop platform, that platform already knows about the order and its integration works today.
PayPal integration questions
Yes, through a different route. Trigger the invitation from your confirmation page with the JavaScript snippet, or from your backend with the API, at the point the payment succeeds.
