a question about my server got a useful answer quickly, and the Discord was handy for working through what to try next. i like having practical help available without needing to make a big thing of it. the server itself has been running smoothly for me, so there's not much to fuss over.
The price stood out, and the server ran well for a budget plan. Pretty SOLID value for what I needed.
The server was straightforward to get around, which made setting things up feel manageable instead of turning into a whole project. When I had a question about getting a plugin working, the Discord community was useful, and support usually got back to me quickly. Performance has been steady for my Minecraft setup, too; I haven't run into the kind of lag that would ruin a session. There was a little room for improvement with file transfers, but that didn't outweigh how easy the panel is to use. Nice to have a host that feels accessible without making the server feel limited. 🙂
Bought a basic Minecraft server plan with them and I've been using the service for 2 months now with no hiccups. Very pleased with how well it ran for the price. Support was really good. Response to opening a ticket was fast. Definite recommend for those looking for servers located in Dallas.
I rented a Basic Server with VA Hosting for Minecraft and I was pleasantly surprised how well it performed. If you are on a budget it is a great offer. I also tried out their Premium Server which was blazing fast and had no noticeable TPS drops or any other issues. A beast of a machine! They have a discord where you can join to get support or just chat. The support is real fast and amazing. I would really recommend VA Hosting if you are looking for a good host!
The server is easy to manage, very simple but not too simple so its not customizable. I think that the file transfer could be a bit faster(also might be my end), but overall I love VAHosting. Their discord is extremely helpful, I don’t think I’ve run into a problem I couldn’t fix in the discord.
VA has amazing support which can help with almost anything and responding at rapid speeds, their prices are very competitive and servers are very high performance for even the cheapest plan. Has never let me down.
Server hosting is really good and cheap, and I personally own a bungee cord server combination of 5 servers, which runs great and with no lag, and I was able to get all this (servers ranging from 2gbs ram to 4gbs ram) for $8 a month! My friend has a $5 a month 5gb modded server, and it runs great too. I've had a few problems with their UI, over the year or so I've used them, and all I have to do is leave a ticket and they reply within 4 hours. Its great, and I'm so satisfied!
VA Hosting is an amazing company. The staff are very friendly and always willing to assist when you need help. I have been with them on and off for a while and I always come back. Seeing a business be professional, personable, and always willing to reach out a hand to help speaks volumes to me. I highly recommend using them, their services are solid and the support is always on top of their game. You do feel like a valued customer and not another number with a wallet. Thank you, VA Hosting for being amazing, helpful, and willing to help, even when you should be sleeping!
VAHosting is possibly one of the best minecraft server hosts out there, primarily because of their customer service. I've been a customer of VA for about a year now, and I haven't had any problems since I created my server. Whenever I want help on something, like integrating a plugin for my server, I contact one of their support staff on their discord and I usually get a reply within minutes, sometimes hours depending on the time of day. They want to ensure you're a satisfied customer so they go above and beyond when you ask them for help. It's truly an experience like none other. Onto the pricing aspect. Their prices are definitely competitive, but in a good way. I would say that you need at least 3GB of ram and a premium plan which is $9 for a stable server without any issues. They have plans under 3GB premium or not that would work fine as well, but you might not be able to use as many plugins or host very many players on it. If I had to suggest this host to a friend, I would practically force them to go with VA just because of how good they are. I hope you find this review useful to you while searching for a minecraft server provider.
