The voting feels off
The voting results kept feeling baffling... I put thought into a room and still couldn't make sense of the placements.

Looking at 53 reviews, most reviewers were dissatisfied with the overall experience. Some reviewers still find the room-decorating concept enjoyable and point to its graphics and creative activity as the appeal. A few describe it as relaxing when they treat it as casual rather than competitive....
Reviewers frequently complain that decor items and in-game currency cost too much, while rewards do not stretch far enough, making it difficult to keep designing without spending. Many also describe voting results as confusing or unfair, saying that designs they consider stronger often lose. Some report lost items or currency, disputed charges, glitches, and difficulty getting useful support.

The opt-out setting kept switching back, and getting a clear fix felt like a dead end. 😕
Played for years, deleted it months ago. Voting system is absolutely ridiculous. I've mentioned several times that voting should be swiped cut redecor said they can't do that. It takes forever to get new colors, materials, photos, pillows, etc. If you don't spend money it gets boring. If you do spend money, you don't win anyway. It's a shame because it was nice to play and not stressful at one point. I can't believe all the good reviews on their platform. Bogus.
I have been a player for a few years now and have paid close attention to the game mechanics. Here are some of my observations: It’s a fun game at first, but the heavy competition quickly overtakes the more relaxing elements, and often strips away real creativity for the sake of making a calculated win. If you’re a type-A personality this will be just your speed, but other types might find it stressful. If you’re a frequent player the Season Pass is definitely worth the money, more so than the Premium Membership. Season Pass allows you to participate fully in all designs and unlock all the season rewards which include coins, tokens, and unique themed designs. The main focus of the Premium Membership is maintaining your designer status so you don’t move down a rung after the 14 days. There are a few other perks it provides—including automatically enabling Season Pass—but they’re pretty negligible for how pricey it is. Premium is great for preserving your designer status if you’re only going to hop on the game a few times a month. But since you CAN move up in status without Premium by playing consistently and strategically, it is ironically worth LESS the more often you play. Now we get to the more serious criticisms, and the reason I have given the game only two stars. As I said earlier, the competition is the driving element in the game. Your ability to make top three consistently determines your advancement in designer status, coin earnings, bonus rewards, and a lot more. In fact, if you’re not ranking at least top two you are losing coins with each design you submit, and you have to wait for the little bonuses the game provides in order to work back up again, or make a purchase. Of course this is completely fair. I have no problems with the game developers making things difficult in order to increase competition and drive potential in-game purchases. However, I and many other players have noticed some concerning trends that indicate more than just healthy competition and understandable bids for cash. Lots of players report an inexplicable downturn in wins after receiving a large coin purse or other reward. The same designs that would have ranked at least top five before are suddenly placing 7th or lower. This drains resources very quickly and players find they’re right back where they started with little or nothing to show for it. This can be extremely frustrating for players who put in a lot of effort to get ahead and now feel like they’re being punished for it. In addition, the game seems to show bias in wins towards new or infrequent players, supposedly to draw them in on a more permanent basis, at the expense of loyal veterans. The game developers are adamant that there is no manipulation happening, but experienced players have observed these trends for a while now with very little in the way of explanation. Unfortunately, in game developer circles it has become accepted practice to rig supposedly merit based games to try and force good players into a purchase. It’s not apparent to me that the developers of Redecor are above this unethical practice, whatever they may say on paper.
Redecor representative Dani, has continued to email me denying concurrent payments from my bank cards, even after I canceled subscription months ago. This isn't my first but third or more time contacting customer support about this. I am being told can't find the account so this morning I emailed Gmail an̈d cloud addresses. This is for them to find their error and reimburse me , I don't work for redecor . This has gone on for months now
rough little experience. The game feels pricey, and the glitches make it hard to enjoy.
They have an opt out button. I do not want them to sell any information about me. I changed the toggle to do not sell and then when I go back in about half the time, the button is switched back. I complained by email and they claim they do not know what’s going on and asked for a picture. I sent the picture and they now claim they need a movie. I can not login and out for 48 hours to catch the toggle. I have other life requirements. I am the customer and they are PLaytika. They have nearly 3000 employees and profited nearly 162.2 million in 2024. I sent them a picture, it seems they should have employees that can troubleshoot their toggle issues. I asked for them to set my opt out toggle manually and they claim they can’t. Beware of your privacy.
This game is ridiculously overpriced! The game has a lot of annoying glitches.
The game is very unfair and it's ripping off customers. Their payouts are ridiculous. It's a money grabber. They lower the payouts, they make impossible to decorate a room. Ya gotta be rich to even finish a room. Should be illegal but they keep getting away with it. They lost my hair and said I deleted it .Which I didn't but I can't fight them. If I did, it was a huge mistake because of the money I put into it (quite a bit) but my game is gone and they only offered 200,000 coin which doesn't even match my game they lost. I'm so upset but Google pay doesn't nothing about it. Not even the BBB
Don't spend money on this game! I've been playing for a couple years and made a lot of purchases. All of the items I purchased are gone? There is no way to contact the game to ask for help.
