Is Outplayed easy to set up and use?

Many reviewers describe it as beginner-friendly, with a clear interface and simple controls. Some say they can set it to capture gameplay automatically, while others value being able to adjust capture settings for different games.

Can it automatically record gameplay or save highlights?

Reviewers describe automatic recording and configurable highlight capture, including saving clips around moments they choose. Some report that capture can fail intermittently or that a game may need to be recorded manually.

Can I review and edit clips after a match?

Reviewers say they can find recordings by game or session, revisit gameplay, and make shorter clips from longer footage. Some use these clips to review decisions or share moments with friends.

Does Outplayed work with every game?

Reviewers report that some games are not supported for automatic capture, and that detection can be affected when a game is updated. In those cases, some say they can start recording manually.

How does it handle storage and old recordings?

Some reviewers value setting a storage cap and automatically removing older footage, while others say they can choose which moments to capture or move recordings to other storage. A few report clips disappearing unexpectedly, so experiences with keeping footage have not been uniform.

How is the recording quality and effect on game performance?

Many reviewers praise the video quality, and some say recording has little effect on gameplay. Audio is a less consistent area: a few report sound quality or input-setting problems.

Can I share recordings with other people?

Reviewers describe making clips for friends and sharing recordings. Some mention using links for larger files, while others would like more upload or editing options.

Storage stays manageable

Old footage stays manageable with the storage cap, and I can still pull a clip from a session when I want one.

A second look

A better look at my decisions. Replaying risky moments helps me spot what I could have handled diffrently, and the match clips are easy to revisit.

Very user friendly

Very user friendly! records extremely long and would recommend to those who want to casually record their gameplay and whatnot. Ads don't really get in the way, and you can generally watch your videos back without distraction.

Fantastic app for game recaps

The app is great. I use it to record my matches which I later review. I have never had a problem for 3-4 years until recently. When I contacted them about the issue they helped me resolve it within a matter of hours. I will continue using it in the future.
