Looking at 51 reviews, most reviewers were dissatisfied with the overall experience. A few positive reviewers value the broad range of game mods, especially the Skyrim selection. Some also describe downloads as straightforward and mods as working well in their experience....
Complaints are dominated by free-tier download limits, slow or interrupted downloads, and perceptions that faster speeds or features require payment. Many reviewers also criticize moderation decisions, describing removals or rule enforcement as inconsistent. Some report account access and verification problems, while others say ads or Vortex installation loops make downloading more frustrating.

Extremely poor and slow communication, they ignore your emails for weeks at a time. It also takes *months* to get your mod verified, and it then again takes *months* to make any update your mod at all, even with a full GitHub source. I’ve had no issues with nexus as a normal user downloading things, but as a developer trying to make mods, it’s a long and tedious process and the staff aren’t helpful.
ugh, the moderation feels uneven, and it's hard to trust rules that seem to change depending on the content.
Tout pour la carte !! Un mod basic en 5sec en premium et 7mn en gratuit ! pire que Spotify
download speeds are ATROCIOUS if you don't shove money into their grubby fat fingers
corporate greed never usenever usenever usenever usenever usenever usenever usenever usenever usenever use
They are hypocritical and bias, they will allow mods as long as it backs up their crooked agenda. They obviously don't care about mods for everyone, only a select few of special people that like rainbows too much..
Honestly, I'm really disappointed with Nexus Mods lately. As a gamer, I always appreciated having a place where the community could share its creativity, but the way moderation is handled makes it hard to take the platform seriously. The rules don't seem to be applied consistently, and it often feels like certain mods are treated differently depending on their content or the message behind them (unfairly, without balance, selectively... ughhh---). If you want to have rules, fine, but apply them equally to everyone !!! It's not even about agreeing or disagreeing with specific mods. It's about fairness, transparency, and not making users feel like the rules only apply when it's convenient. Nexus Mods used to be a great place for the modding community, but this kind of selective moderation really damages my trust in the platform.
Gayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
They remove mods that make games more inline with societal norms, but promote mods that side with their trans ideological garbage.
Censoring mods for that 'offend' when the whole reason for them being there is to get rid of characters, features, and designs players don't like.
