I purchased a game key, mislead by site, not offered to fix their issue

I purchased a game key. The website says I will recieve a manual game key I enter. It automatically activated it on a microsoft account. I at no point gave them permission or acknowledgement to redeem the key. It was redeemed to an account I did do not play on. Instead of acknowledging they messed up and would correct it they instead decided to blame me the customer for the key being redeemed by them not stating that they would on the product page or before actually doing the step confirmed by the user themselves. As a result they ended my conversation with them without acknowledging the issue that will likely not be fixed. I highly do NOT RECOMMEND using this site as they will not take responsibility of their mess ups. Two different cases they failed to let the customer know what they were going to do. Then act like it was my problem. They should have accepted they were wrong and offered to purchase me another key (to correct their mess up for me) and then correct their site for future customers. They decided instead to not care. This shows they are willing to mislead the customer and will continue to do it. Afterwards it seems they blocked me from contacting them again. Only good thing to say here is they offered the best price which doesn't even matter if their service is next to scam behaviour.

TRIED TO BUY MW4

TRIED TO BUY MW4, THEY SAID ACTIVATION FAILED AND DID NOT RETURN MY MONEY. THEY RETURNED MY 50 DOLLARS IN THE FORM OF LD GOLD. DO NOT SHOP HERE.

Bought MW4 Xbox key

@LDShop_Official Order P0020261024124322584192881836: I paid €48.32 for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, and no key was delivered. Your “Microsoft” login box is fake: your website code sends Microsoft passwords and codes to your own server (/api/user/social/bind/v2/xbox/verify/password). Your own refund policy says undelivered = refund. Give me a full refund to my original payment method (not LD Gold) or a real MW4 key code right now. I will keep posting and reporting this until I get my money back. ⚠️ Everyone: never type your Microsoft or Steam password into LDShop. Update: they refunded as LD Gold. I asked for a formal refund to my original payment. Waiting.

Very careful with refunds

I paid €50 on LDShop to get a Modern Warfare 4 key for Xbox, but everything went wrong from the beginning. Their website wouldn't let me link my Xbox account, which made it impossible for me to access the product I had paid for. Since I couldn't use what I purchased, I requested a refund. To my surprise, instead of refunding my €50 in real money, they offered me a refund in "LG Gold", some kind of virtual currency that can only be used on their platform. This is completely unacceptable. I paid with real money, not virtual coins, and I expect to receive my refund through my original payment method. The entire experience felt extremely shady and untrustworthy. I've now had to open a dispute through PayPal just to try to get my money back because LDShop hasn't provided a satisfactory solution. Be very careful before buying anything from this website. Based on my experience, if something goes wrong, getting your actual money back can become another nightmare. I strongly DO NOT recommend LDShop.

Still chasing the refund

Really frustrating to pay for a game and end up with nothing to show for it. The explanation was that the copy had a problem, but the refund still hasn't reached me. I shouldn't have to keep chasing to get my payment back. That's taken the shine off the whole purchase.
