a repair worth doing
that old ps4 had a bad hdmi socket, so i was glad to get it sorted rather than write the console off. dropped it off friday and collected it monday, and they had also replaced the cooling paste while it was there. nice little extra, and the machine was back in use without making the whole thing a drawn-out chore. the friendly, helpful manner on the phone made it easy to ask what would happen. it's reassuring to know repairs like this are an option before replacing a console.
