couldn't finish the series

started a series, then couldn't find the later episodes. not much use getting invested if the rest disappears.

Hard to find

Couldn't find the full match I wanted without digging around, and the home screen gave me little help. It’s frustrating when something current seems buried and the search is the only way to track it down. The layout needs to make programmes easier for me to spot.

just keeps buffering and blurry picture all the time and all the other streaming websites are perfect what is wrong with bbc i player it is rubbish

Buffering again

Just stuck buffering again. Everything else on the TV runs fine, which makes this pretty frustating.

Absolutely pathetic

Absolutely pathetic. The only app on my TV that is always buffering. Cannot use as it is always buffering. I am considering not renewing my license it is absolutely rubbish. All my other apps, prime, netflix, 4 and 5 all work fine. You need to invest and not be greedy.

Pathetic. Takes ages to connect. Then keeps freezing. Come on BBC, this needs sorting ASAP.

Not fit for purpose they have Traitors…

Not fit for purpose they have Traitors Canada on BBC I player you watch up to series 6 and that's it no 7 no 8 no 9 no final complete waste of time WHY defrauding the TV licence public

JUST VERY POOR APP

I player home page poor and very difficult to navigate. You have to search for most things you want to see despite them being current and popular, like world cup games in full. Recently wanted to watch a specific tennis match in full, not highlights, found two options clicked on one to find the match more than half way through so having seen the score was pointless trying to go back to the start. So frustrating from the way the curser, pink line, disent move, to not saving recently watched, to a boring and homepage that never seems to change or make useful recommendations despite viewing history. This is a poor, frustrating and very disappointing app.

iPlayer constantly freezes

iPlayer constantly freezes when I use it on my laptop (watching live tv on the sky app on there is fine though so its not my connection it's definitely iPlayer). 6 times in the first half of the England game. Why am i being forced to pay a tv license fee for a company that can't provide a reliable service?

They say “watch all episodes on BBC…

They say “watch all episodes on BBC iplayer”. No chance. All good to start with, I get half way through the series and then they take the series off, so you can’t finish it.
