Looking at 51 reviews, most reviewers were happy with the overall experience. Many appreciate the chance to play unreleased and indie games, share detailed feedback with developers, and earn points or other rewards. Reviewers also often describe a welcoming gaming community and helpful staff or moderators. Some praise the Supporters Program for paid testing, while noting that eligibility and rewards can vary....
However, a few customers report waiting a long time for payments, points, or store rewards, with some saying a reward was delayed or never arrived. A small number also describe difficulty getting a response or resolving an account or redemption issue; other reviewers say payments eventually came through or support helped resolve problems.

Taking part in a test made me notice how much there is to learn about the thinking behind a game. The questions nudged me to explain what I was seeing, not just whether I liked it, and that made the session feel like a USEFUL way to build my own testing skills.
Early access to upcoming games, with points for useful feedback. A fun way to play something new and help shape it.
As a gamer, I honestly think GameRound is a dream opportunity. Being able to test games that are still in development, experience them before they’re released, and provide feedback that can actually help improve the final product is something I really enjoy. I love that the feedback isn't just about saying whether you liked or disliked a game. You get the opportunity to point out things that could be improved, share your thoughts on the overall experience, and potentially help developers make their games better for everyone who eventually plays them. And honestly, getting paid to play games, provide feedback, and help improve the gaming experience is pretty hard to beat! It's a great way for gamers to turn something they already enjoy into a rewarding experience. I've had a very positive experience with G.Round so far and would definitely recommend it to other gamers who enjoy trying new games and giving thoughtful, honest feedback.
There are very few places like Gameround that offer anyone the opportunity to contribute to the development of indie games and to refine their gameplay before release. That is why I truly appreciate a place like Gameround. They are bringing developers and gamers together to create even better games, and in that, they have my full support. It's also a great way to earn some decent pocket change by earning points and spending them in their curated store. And if you take testing seriously, even greater rewards will follow. Until recently, they had trouble delivering to some people, myself included, but it seems they've made big changes to their support department, and they've done a very good job resolving issues since.
Testing games has always been a dream of mine, because what could be better than getting paid for doing something that you already do on a daily basis and love it. G.Round is a great place for that, I started a couple months ago receiving points for playing and reviewing upcoming games. Recently I got lucky to get on the supporters program and got my first paycheck 🙌🏻 you apply for the type of games you like, and if you get selected there's a whole team that will answer all your questions and reassure all the scaries. I'm definitely sticking and would recommend it to those who want to make a bit of extra cash while playing video games and writing some quality reviews.
They are an honest company that has always paid for the playtests, they have a nice community and CM that responds often
I started with Gameround some years ago and I love being able to test with them. I was able to join their Supporter's program, so I've been earning some side money with them too! The payments usually take some time but always come through. I've never had any issues testing with them.
This is an app that pays you to test games. In my opinion I think this is one of the best sites I have used as I enjoy playing games and I can play to get paid which makes it an even more enjoyable experience for me. However payments comes at the end of the next month you played the game on which can be a downside if you aren’t patient
After reading the 1 star ratings I can maybe understand the confusion and I'd like to clarify on those reviews. There are some reviews that G.Points is bad or redeem something and not get it and in my case yes I redeemed points and it took probably an unusual amount of time, but I was patient and eventually got it in the mail. The Supporters Program to earn cash is in fact better as long as you strive to do excellent reviews as if you do like a short essay and try to do the bare minimum 350 word count and not try to write constructive thoughtful reviews and surveys you will not be paid I promise you on that. I've been an active G.Round Supporter since March 2023 to today May 2026 and on my Linkedin page and proud to say G.Round has not disappointed me on the cash rewards because I did not disappoint them. I write what I believe the devs need to hear such as what works in their game, what is maybe missing, and maybe suggest features that could help their game improve. Therefore, do not get discouraged by the 1 star reviews as they probably were impatient or not understanding. Pros: 1. Get exclusive look at upcoming games yet to be released and play it. 2. Get Cash 3. Get to chat with others and maybe build your network such as a G.Round Certificate. Cons: 1. Your not told if you did a great review and survey during a private playtest, unless maybe submit it early enough. I wouldn't rely on someone to tell you to write it better, so treat it like a school essay where you write the best you can, submit the review and survey, and wait for the payment. Much like a teacher will not immediately tell you your grade and must wait however long it takes. 2. Payment will take like 1 to 1 and 1/2 months as their payment takes a while to go through. 3. Region specific as sometimes playtests where only those living in North America and Europe countries are selected. Others are sometimes only looking for those living in Europe and sometimes its Global and the number that is selected is small. Overall, it is a great game testing platform that I've seen over others that only reward you cents for hours of play. Therefore, I'd rather playtest here the most and consider this my favorite game testing platform to be a part of. Note Date of Experience part had to be within the last 12 months so I marked March 10th which is the day I got an email saying I got paid from G.Round over $200.
