Looking at 51 reviews, most reviewers were very happy with the overall experience. Many appreciate the console as a hands-on way to learn programming, with tutorials that help beginners turn code into playable games. Reviewers also praise the device’s quality and the fun of playing and sharing games, alongside an active, helpful community. Several describe responsive customer service and report that orders arrived on time and well packaged....
However, some customers report loose or imprecise buttons, a fragile power button, or gaps and other finish issues. A few also mention a late shipment, concerns about the price, limited documentation in their language, or slow arrival of games.

A little handheld with a lot of charm. The build feels solid, and I like that it isn't just for playing: there's room to tinker and make things too. Finding other people sharing games and ideas gives the whole thing a welcoming feel. Pretty delighted with it 🙂
Getting a small game running on a handheld made programming click for me. The tutorials kept the first steps manageable, and turning a little project into something I could actually play was genuinely FUN. There’s a helpful community around it, so it feels easy to keep learning.
A beautiful console. As said on the site, we play, we create, we share. Excellent community, we learn in a good mood. Thank you Aurélien;)

I received my Gamebuino console in perfect condition and found it easy to get started with help of their website. Meanwhile I already finished programming my first game. This used to be a web game. It's fun to be able to now play it on a physical device, together with sound and light effects.
Very bad product
