Really frustrating to be turned away when a product had a problem so soon after purchase. I expected some help sorting it out, but was left feeling that the responsibility had been pushed elsewhere. It made the whole experience feel unnecessarily difficult.
The installer came on the wrong day, and the quoted cost jumped much higher than expected. Left me pretty annoyed 😕
The thing stopped working soon after I got it, and asking for help turned into being told to deal with the manufacturer. That left me feeling pretty stuck. I expected a bit more care once something failed, but getting an exchange or refund seemed like a dead end. REALLY disappointing.
sold me a water distilled water tank and told me i needed to change the filler every six mouth when i asked, but then before six month, i have cancer, i was unsure if this was related, and i did not think this company ever care when there are no solid proves. and i was the very loyal customer with this shop.
I recently moved to a village house and ordered a washing machine destined for my rooftop. As per Fortress’s official delivery policy, I was fully prepared and agreed to pay the standard stair delivery surcharge. However, the delivery driver flat-out refused to carry the machine up the stairs, claiming it couldn't fit in the rooftop space, and dumped it on the 1st floor instead. To make matters worse, when the official installation technician arrived later, he inspected the rooftop and confirmed that the washing machine fits and can be installed without any issue. Because of their delivery driver's lazy refusal and false claim, I am now stuck with an expensive, unusable machine sitting on the wrong floor. Instead of taking accountability, Fortress is demanding a 30% restocking fee to return the item. Charging customers a 30% penalty for a failure caused entirely by their own delivery staff is completely unacceptable. Easily the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Save yourself the stress and buy elsewhere.
Ive bought a device from them and returned home, open the box and one of the buttons has broken, I tried to return 2 hours later on the same day to exchange as product as it has been sold to me defect/broken and have been flat out refused an exchange or refund from floor staff. I'm told that I must bring to the manufacturer for repair, despite owning for less than 2 hours. absolutely disgraceful that they sell defect broken products and then dodge all responsibility, completely illegal within consumer laws but manage to hide behind their loophole in house policies
Fortress is terrible at customer service and returns. We spend so much and buy so many things and rarely need returns or exchanges but when you do, its a complete nightmare. The staff is incompetent and the return policies are so horrid that you'll end up not being able to exchange or refund items, EVEN IF THEY ARE DAMAGED BEFORE YOU GET THEM! pathetic.
Installer turned up on the wrong day. The quoted price more than doubled. Avoid fortress installation service.
If you are buying aircon units avoid Fortress! We bought our units and had them installed by fortress. Their engineer left a huge mess in every room and refused to tidy up after himself. Then the machines started leaking after 3 weeks. Customer service said this was nothing to do with them because it was past the 2 week window. But I couldn’t get it fixed from my warranty because the issue was due to improper installation. He had also not wired in the earth wires when installing the machines. Super dangerous! Avoid at all costs!
The e-shop is lying about the availability in each stores. It will say whatever you are searching is available in-store, and that they promise same day pick up from the store if inventory is available. But once you place your order, the inventory is taken from their e-shop pool from central warehouse, and has nothing to do with the physical inventory in the store. Contacting customer service is just a webform that doesn't even send you an email to acknowledge that they have received your inquiry. Using their Chatbot is just going in circle. I truly regret making my order online through Fortress.
