Reported a Seller's Threats — EpicNPC Responded by Threatening to Ban Me

I recently had an extremely disappointing experience with EpicNPC's administration after requesting assistance with a disputed transaction. I purchased a gaming account advertised with a high count diamonds. During my initial inspection, I documented a lower count of diamonds that would have costed me another $39.99 to top-up. I subsequently opened a PayPal dispute regarding the discrepancy and and initiated contact through a safer means, knowing that I selected PayPal (goods and services) for my protection against scammy accounts. The seller highly recommended to "trust him, it will be worth it, no need to use Trust Guardian." The seller then responded by accusing me of scamming, threatening to have me permanently banned, and demanding that I withdraw my dispute within 24 hours or face negative feedback. He subsequently followed through on that threat and published a review attacking my honesty and character. I contacted EpicNPC's administration, provided the relevant correspondence, and requested an impartial investigation. Their response was astonishing. Rather than meaningfully addressing the seller's documented threats and subsequent feedback, an administrator declared that the account "obviously" involved illegal top-up services because the advertised diamonds would cost substantially more if purchased directly from the game. The administrator then stated, "I will assume you are fully aware of this as you made the purchase." That is an extraordinarily serious accusation to make without providing evidence. An established gaming account can accumulate substantial amounts of in-game currency through normal gameplay, recurring events, achievements, and rewards. Comparing its resale price to the retail purchase price of its currency does not establish illegal activity or a buyer's knowledge of it. The administrator subsequently declared me "100% at fault," warned that my actions bordered on deserving a ban, and stated that another incident would result in permanent suspension. When I challenged these assumptions and requested an explanation of the specific rules I had supposedly violated, I received the following response: "This is already a 2nd review, you don't get to keep requesting for someone else. The decision is final. If it happens again you will be banned." This issue does not warrant unsupported allegations of knowingly participating in illegal activity, nor does it explain why the seller's documented threat to publish negative feedback received no clear, independent determination. My greatest concern is the lack of transparency and consistency in EpicNPC's administrative process. I requested help in good faith, yet the investigation ended with speculative accusations, a threat of suspension, and no substantive explanation of how the seller's retaliatory conduct was evaluated. I would strongly encourage prospective users to document every transaction and carefully consider how much confidence they place in EpicNPC's dispute-resolution process. My experience has seriously undermined my trust in the platform's administration.

A few months, no snags

Banning with terrible reason

Banning with terrible reason (suspicious ID) the moment i create an account and submitted my own personal ID, i haven't even done anything yet mind you, was just planning to sell one of the account i have. Registered, sleep, and the next day i was banned, without warning whatsoever. They took the Id and when i ask to delete my account completely, they refused.

Glad for the guidance

Honestly, I’m REALLY glad the middleman kept both sides talking and explained what was happening as the deal moved along. It made the exchange feel less uncertain, and the person handling it came across as patient and knowledgeable. That was the part that stood out to me.

Use the middle man service

I used the shield and middle man service. All turned out OK. Buyer was thorough and I answered everything I could. Took a bit longer due to a small hiccup but now I have my money and the buyer has their account :). Can't say how safe it is w/o middle man. Depending on the value of an account I wouldn't risk it!!
