I raised a genuine concern about two boxes of boom going missing from our base without us being raided. All I asked was whether the logs could be checked to see how the items had been moved, as we wanted to understand what had happened.
The initial response was simply, “We can’t help with that,” which was disappointing, as I felt this was a reasonable request for the admins to investigate. I then opened another ticket and explained the situation in more detail, mentioning that our team has over 5,000 hours on the server and that we have spent a significant amount of money on kits.
After feeling that my concern was being dismissed, I messaged the admins saying that I expected them to do their job and investigate the issue. I understand that my wording may have come across as blunt, but I was frustrated by the lack of help with a genuine issue.
Their response was to say, “We don’t let people talk to us like that,” and ban me from the Discord.
In my opinion, this was a very unprofessional way to handle the situation, particularly towards someone who has been part of the server for a long time and has invested a considerable amount of time and money into it. I wasn’t asking for special treatment; I simply wanted an explanation for missing items and for the issue to be looked into.
Long-term players should be able to raise genuine concerns and expect a reasonable response. Instead, I was left feeling that the admins were more interested in shutting down the conversation than investigating what had happened.
