Oh, nice... plenty of free games to dip into when I have a few minutes.
The worst, developing games for months so they just automatically reject it. Other platforms review it and mostly accept it. This guys are pure evil, just automatically reject everything. Have no respect for people behind their platform.
Vol met ai slop, ik raad het niet aan. De meeste games zijn van heel lage kwaliteit en er komen geen nieuwe titels bij.
You make effort, you create a game from scratch a whole new concept, you make your own models, everything looks decent, you work on everything well, you submit to them, you get rejected with a low effort explanation that dosen't even help, and I'm not the only one here, read other reviews.
I am an independent game developer who submitted an original Unity game, TRIGGER DRIFT, to CrazyGames twice. Despite substantial improvements between submissions, my game was rejected again without sufficiently specific or actionable feedback. I respect CrazyGames' right to establish quality standards and reject submissions. However, I strongly question the transparency and consistency of its review process. 1. CONSTRUCTIVE FEEDBACK CrazyGames' official Developer FAQ describes a review process involving constructive feedback intended to help developers meet the platform's standards. Yet my experience has been limited to vague rejection explanations that do not identify specific problems. How is a developer supposed to improve a game without knowing what actually caused its rejection? 2. ORIGINALITY REQUIREMENTS CrazyGames' published guidelines emphasize originality and identify clones and unoriginal content as potential reasons for rejection. Nevertheless, the platform hosts numerous games heavily inspired by Minecraft, Roblox and other established titles. CrazyGames even maintains a Minecraft-inspired games category. I am not alleging copyright infringement. However, I question how consistently originality standards are applied. Why are certain derivative concepts considered acceptable while independently developed games face rejection without a clear explanation? 3. UNCLEAR QUALITY STANDARDS I carefully reviewed CrazyGames' published requirements and quality guidelines while improving my game. Based on my assessment, I could not identify a clearly documented reason for rejection. The platform distinguishes mandatory requirements from optional quality recommendations. Was my game rejected because it violated a mandatory technical requirement, or simply because a reviewer did not consider it sufficiently appealing? These are fundamentally different reasons, yet the rejection process does not adequately distinguish between them. 4. PROBLEMS WITH RESUBMISSIONS CrazyGames encourages developers to improve rejected games and resubmit them. However, meaningful improvements require meaningful feedback. Without knowing which aspects failed the review, developers must spend additional time guessing what the platform expects. This is particularly frustrating for independent developers who invest substantial personal time and resources into their projects. 5. LACK OF TRANSPARENCY CrazyGames reserves the right to reject games at its discretion without providing justification under Section 3.5 of its Developer Terms. While this explains its contractual position, it does not resolve the discrepancy between its public emphasis on constructive feedback and the practical experience of receiving generic rejection messages. CONCLUSION My criticism is not that CrazyGames rejected my game. My criticism is that the platform publishes extensive quality requirements while failing, in my experience, to explain which specific standards a rejected submission has not met. Independent developers deserve clearer explanations, consistent expectations and genuinely actionable feedback. A rejection is understandable. Being repeatedly rejected without knowing why is not.
Ended up trying a few different games without needing a download, and it was easy to find another one when I got bored. The ads are a bit much sometimes, but the choice keeps me playing.
If your game gets rejected, all you receive is "The overall quality of the game does not yet meet the expectations of our platform." This is obviously unhelpful and makes it harder for developers to improve their games. If "we understand the effort behind every game" were true, they would surely spend slightly more time providing real feedback. Even just one sentence pointing out the problem would help. I understand that they need to review large numbers of submissions every day, but providing actual feedback would really help create a better experience for developers.
