A quick reply to my emails made a real difference when I needed help with a prepaid service I never received. The terms were laid out clearly, including whether interest applied, so I knew what I was agreeing to. That kind of clarity mattered to me.
If the dentist offers you to use Cherry for your dental procedure. Don't. They sent me an email offering to lower my monthly payment to $40 month. They had me make a payment to put forth the new plan in place. I did. Next month comes by, they say I still owed $122. I let them know that I did not. And sent the screenshot for the new plan they offered me. I went back and forth with them for days. They finally come back and say, you're right, we fixed it. It should now be $40 going forward. I just now got an email saying I owe the full amount of the loan. I again, message them that this is wrong. It is $40 a month. And they again tell me the new plan doesn't exist. I again, send screenshots. I have now escalated this to their complaint team. So please, save yourself the headache of dealing with this horrendous financing company.
The account details were wrong, and getting them corrected went nowhere; being sent back to the credit bureau did not solve it.
Horrible experience! Cherry presents itself as an interest-free financing option, but what they don't tell you is how much you'll end up paying in processing fees. For my first payment of $447, I had to pay more than $200 in processing fees, and they charge these fees every single time! This is absolutely ridiculous and feels like a scam. If you need financing, use CareCredit instead. They offer six months of interest-free financing, and you don't get hit with these outrageous processing fees every time you make a payment. Cherry is a complete rip-off! I paid off my entire balance in full, and I will NEVER use them again. BEWARE OF CHERRY! I strongly recommend staying away from this company!
I was going to have a skin treatment service in a Medical Spa. The amount was excessive to what the service offers. They used Cherry Financing. On the 7th day, I changed my mind and canceled. The provider canceled but I was told the payment will still continue because it's an automatic payment. I called Cherry twice and asked to cancel since the service has not been done. I was given the impression that it will be canceled because they said the first payment would be refunded. Imagine they already charged me the first payment on the very first day of application. I was also told that a Customer Service Specialist will call me back. NOBODY DID!!! I called my bank and told them about it. My bank canceled the credit card I used and was replaced. They're killing time until my credit card will be charged. The payment was posted October 1st. Cherry somehow got a hold of my new credit card and they charged my new credit card!!! How did they do that?!! I called my bank and told them about it. My bank declined the payment and canceled my new card again. Today, I received a text from Cherry saying I am still responsible for making payments..i believe using a credit card different from what I gave them was illegal. That's stolen personal information. DO NOT USE CHERRY FINANCING!!! AT ALL!!
I would give it zero stars if I could. They somehow have my name wrong and address wrong in the system. It’s so close (only off by one number and two letters that I didn’t notice it at first. They declined my application saying I was unidentifiable, so I reached out to them to get it changed. They won’t change it. They kept calling me by the wrong name and saying I need to check with the credit bureau. The credit bureau has my correct information. They still will do nothing about it and tell me to try in 30 days. It was like talking to a brick wall. How will it ever be accepted if you won’t change my information? I would recommend NEVER using them.
If I could give zero , I would. The worst company. Had a bad experience with a medical provider. Asked for a refund. From $3200 charge , I got a $160 refund.
They're super transparent, got me money back from a prepaid service that I never rec'd when a company shut down without any notice, they responded to my emails quickly as well. They tell you up front if you'll have any interest rates, and if I'm correct as long as you don't use a credit card to make payments it's no fee?
Interest rate is excessively high. They never respond to a text and rarely in chat. Their site does not automatically text a code for logging in but it will call you with one. The CSRs don't seem knowledgeable. They will add a $15 late fee if your payment isn't received on the due date. I always thought companies allow a grace period. I'll be looking for something better
Cherry Credits is a complete nightmare! I have sent my official ID and card documents TWICE. My full name, photo, and birthday are 100% visible and match my account perfectly. However, they refuse to verify me because I masked my sensitive National ID (T.C.) number and card's middle digits.They are forcing international users to expose highly sensitive data, which creates a massive risk for identity theft. This is a direct violation of Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA)! They refuse to use human logic, sending automated bot replies and holding my paid account hostage just to avoid giving my service.DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY WITH YOUR PRIVATE DOCUMENTS. They are trying to steal my funds by making verification impossible. I am filing an official complaint directly to the PDPC Singapore and requesting a fraud chargeback from my bank. Absolute thieves!
