Inside the players' thinking

Player interviews, with the reasoning behind the moves. Really interesting reading, and a few ideas worth turning over afterward.

Player stats rabbit hole...

Player stats in one place... The database makes it easy to follow how familiar pros are doing, and I end up browsing longer than planned.

Useful for hand reviews

The odds calculator helped me judge whether a poker decision was profitable... simple, but genuinely useful for learning.

Good calculator

I'm basing this review solely on CardPlayer's Odds Calculator, which I use every day when replaying the poker hands I'd had. It's just a very simple calculator telling you what kind of odds your hand was to win or lose that battle but it's a great learning tool so you can tell if you put your chips in profitably overall or not. It has options for Hold'Em, Omaha Hi-Lo, Stud and Razz, too.

The design isn’t mobile-friendly

The design isn’t mobile-friendly, which is a letdown. Since I mainly use my phone, it limits how often I visit.

Not bad

Not bad, not great. The tools work, and the info's decent, but it doesn't feel as engaing as some newer poker platforms.

Feels a bit like a content hub more than a community. Would love more interactivity or even live chats with experts. Still solid for what it is.

The design isn't very mobile-friendly, and that's bummer. I mostly browse on my phone, so that limits how often I use it.

I get that not everything can be interactive, but a forum or live chat would make this place pop. Right now, it's very one-way.

Found the strategy section helpful but pretty basic. Maybe they could spice it up with more video content or community Q&A stuff. Just saying.
