Unexpected extras

Extra course charges after signup, with no clear sense of what was optional. The videos also felt dated, and support took days to get back to me.

I signed up for The Social Man because…

I signed up for The Social Man because I'd seen a lot of advice along the lines of ""this will help you improve your communication skills with women. "" But the experience was simply irritating. Immediately after purchasing the courses, I started getting charged for additional modules that weren't mentioned at the beginning-it's as if they were trying to lure you into buying ""another mandatory lesson. ""Support takes three or four days to respond, and the responses are completely irrelevant. The feeling that you're not buying a real product, but just a bunch of videos with outdated information, is strong. Somewhere in the middle of reminiscing about endless attempts to contact support, I thought that if there was a proper dating service with live chat and the chance to actually meet someone, like they try to do onjjlove.co, I'd switch there without a second thought. Here, you spend money and get little results-just a bunch of lessons that don't work for real communication with real people.

DO NOT SIGN UP

DO NOT SIGN UP. They will continue to charge you despite numerous requests and attempts to cancel. You will be stuck with an overpriced payment on a ridiculous product that is not worth your hard earned money. Do not buy the money back guarantee either, you will never see your money again. I am having to cancel my credit card that they have just to avoid their constant and unwanted charges. TOTAL SCAM!

Iv'e been studding Life & Relationship Coaches for 8 years now with some of them being the best in the business like Ester Perel etc... but after taking several courses from The Social Man I have learnt so so much more helpful information I can apply to my life that will help me achieve a happier and more truthful outcome for me in my relationships with women and men alike...Thanks so much ...Great Great work CHRISTIAN HUDSON ...BRILLIANT STUFF !!!!!!!

Good content!

I read the fineprint and took time to get an overview of what was a one time payment and what was a subscription on my dashboard setting.I disabled the subscription part and was never charged further. I feel its unfair to call this company a scam when you dont do your own research and read what youre paying for. However I would like to see the soscial man giving a better overview on what`s a one time payment and what`s a subscription. It`s very common for people to feel scammed if the information is not with huge red warningsigns. The courses it`s self gave me many AHA awakenings and was very worth the cost in my optionion. It all depends what you are looking for to learn more about ofc. Content might be old, but does that really matter? Dateing has not changed the last 100 years, so I dont see why others say it`s an issue that the videos are old. Great valuable content. Got many hours with interesting tips that also works in everyday life. There are alot of additional content you can buy. On the minus side: I was a little confused with what cost what in the promotion video. You do get spammed with emails to buy the additional courses, but some emails also include free atricles to read. But all in all in very happy.

How to get your money back from this scam

Bought thinking it might be actually helpful and interesting. Firstly, most the courses I bought were not unlocked despite paying for them. The one that was available was outdated and old in comparison to the advertising which I felt was very false. Secondly, getting in touch with the company to seek support and there was no response for three days which I found quite annoying considering I had just bought their product. HOW TO GET YOUR MONEY BACK: If you want to know how to get out of this scam and get your money back, here's how I did it. Go to the settings and make sure to uncheck all subscriptions to prevent future bills. This is a must to get out and save being stung like other reviewers. Then, go to the course settings and ask for a refund (you can do this yourself without contacting them). I bought my courses with a 90 day money back guarantee, so when I got to the page and it said there could only be a partial refund and online support weren't replying, I knew this was a scam. They offered a 30% refund and a new course if I chose to stay, which I declined and selected I would take my refund. Following this, I was offered a 50% refund if I chose to stay and pick another course. Again, I clicked to leave and get a refund. And the third time if just refunded me all my money. So if you are within your refund period, ignore the scare tactics because the site will let you get a full refund, it's just preying on people to take as much of their money as possible. And then make sure to run as fast as you can. Hope this helps anybody worrying how to get out of this mess.

What a SCAM Joined for $79.99 Aust

What a SCAM Joined for $79.99 Aust. a month to be billed weekly @ 20.00 odd dollars. A few days later was charged $120, & as part of that first joining the company was constantly trying to up sell me to a lot higher program which I did not agree to. The couple of emails they sent me where exactly the same a cock & bull story & then a huge up sell. This company would be doing Ok if they just delivered what they promised instead of trying to squeeze u for a tone more money for something U have not asked for from the start. This is a clear example of not how to build trust with customers & deliver what was promised, it would be one of the worst cases I have yet see of smash & grab as much as they can & run once they have your credit card details. If U are the owner of this business & don't know what is going on I suggest U get on top of what your staff are up to because they are going to send u under if they treat everyone like this.......

Their marketing is horrible already

The kind of marketing techniques they use (videos you cannot forward, pseudo-discounts, pseudo 'gonna take this video down' threats, Hidden extra costs instead of one time billing) should already be enough to keep you away from this company. You will also know this from shady financial advisors or others who try to make money with your deepest fears and hopes.The other reviews say enough I guess. This one star is for wasting my time with their annoying website already. Ain't no problem paying money for good content, but if someone really cares about people learning and living a better life he could just sell his stuff normally

It appears that The Social Man is selling older, dated content

This is a follow up to my 12/7/23 review in which I said that The Social Man material was not worth paying for & that they had charged me for products that I never ordered. I requested a full refund and, to date, they have issued only a partial refund. I will follow up. In addition, I did something that I wish I had done before ordering anything from them: I went to their YouTube page. Once there, I could not find any videos more recent than 3 years old any many MUCH older. Speaking of older, the proprietor, Christian, looks WAY older by at least 10 years than he looks in the videos he sells. In other words, he appears to be selling older, dated videos. My advice? There is better, up-to-date content available out there.
