I paid for an item shown as available, then learned it wasn't in stock. My messages went unanswered, and getting the money back meant escalating the issue elsewhere. The silence was the worst part; I shouldn't have had to keep chasing just to get a basic update.
Lovely place to settle in for a game. The staff were attentive, and the atmosphere made playing with friends feel easy.
Excellent Space to Play DnD or Card Games - Local Games Store/Bar/Restaurant. Food wasn’t extravagant but decent enough, prices were reasonable. Offered student discount. Good beers/ciders on tap. Excellent and attentive staff. Sadly, think they have closed doors which is such a shame.
Ordered 15 boxes of Dragon Shield Sleeves, all worth $170+ but they did not ship out my order for almost 6 months now. I requested for a refund and they replied on 2 Feb 2023, asking me if I wanted a full refund or if I'm alright with waiting (they will add some "free lost art promo cards as an apology" with my order). I obviously asked for a full refund but until now, there's still no reply from them. Would not recommend this shop!
Hesitated to leave a negative review last year, as I wanted to give them some allowances for pandemic-related issues. But after some assurances made at the time, have found Mana House's service to be uncommunicative, expensive, and I suspect deceptive – an order was unfulfilled, and when I was finally invited to repeat the order after some months (and only after a partial refund from PayPal), they had pushed the prices of the items up. Don't purchase from them.
Place an order for models that were out of stock in a lot of online stores but listed as 2 in stock here. Waited 2 weeks, sent a polite email as had no dispatch note, no response. 3 more emails over 5 days and finally got a reply saying it hadn’t been dispatched as they had no stock and where awaiting restock from supplier. As this was a Xmas pressie asked for a refund, no response. Has to raise a PayPal dispute to get money back which too another week, still nothing from them. 1st and last time ordering from these clowns
Initially stock issues, was promised item in august, heard nothing, had to get in contact. Stock issues was to blame again, was promised items in September, asked for email conformation. Nothing again. Had to call after 3 un-replied to emails. Asked for refund with email confirmation at the end of September, was promised refund of full amount. No email, no refund, no items? Feels like a scam.
I have only dealt with The Mana House a few times but I have always received exceptional help and service from these guys with a great delivery time. I have been recommending them to all my friends in the last few days
Most unprofessional company I have ever seen, constantly having "stock issues" as well as the large amount legal issues that have emerged around the owner, and his various miss conducts with staff. Shop at many of the other local game stores across Bristol and the South West.
I have only used the website so far, but the experience has been amazing. Great to communicate to with any issues (my fault,not theirs!!) and it was resolved within minutes. They are open, honest, and prices are most reasonable. The website is also easy to use and there is personal touch with the whole experience, definitely my first choice in future for my gaming needs!
