Hard to read past the ads

Opening an article turned into a constant fight with the page; the ads kept breaking up the reading, and I had to scroll around just to get through it. I don't mind ads in general, but this made the actual content hard to follow. Not worth the effort.

Honestly, useful walkthroughs

Honestly, the walkthroughs have helped when I get stuck trying to finish story mode. They give me enough detail to get moving again without making me guess at every step. I still look elsewhere for gaming news, but for getting through a tricky part, these guides are genuinely useful.

Useful code options

The Roblox gift-code options were handy when I was looking for free rewards, and the gaming suggestions felt approachable.

Rewriting reviews about games they never played

Rewriting reviews about games they never actually played and saying so in their articles.

Fake website for "gamers"

The site creates fake articles by pretending to be "gamers" when all they do is post incomprehensible slop usually using AI. Don't take anything this website says to be accurate or true.

Ads cover almost the entire page

Ads cover almost the entire page. You might get ten words of reading before having to carefully scroll. This is intentional to try and get you to purchase the "ad free" site. Im all for having advertisement but when you cant read the articles it gets rediculous. Terrible.

Too many ads too little content

Too many ads too little content, "the full guide" to eu5 unions was far from being useful or full of informations

TheGamer think they're cool, but they're not

Bunch of lefties (or possibly wannabe lefties?) who don't actually know or care to know about the video games and gaming services they review. Most of their articles are just opinions and not factual evidence, used solely to push whatever political or ethical agenda/s they have. Large number of their articles are just click bait in a poor attempt to maintain interest in their woeful social issues, which they seem to think is what video games are all about. A lot of good gaming related sites out there that actually talk about video games & gaming related topics and don't have their writers attempting to force their own views on you, but TheGamer is definitely not one of them.

Clickbait and virtue signalling from journalists who hate video games

The worst gaming site out there for clickbait and activism. Honestly some of their articles make the onion headlines look normal. I have no idea who unironically still goes to this site but I do seriously pity them since they must live very unhappy lives. Do yourself a favour and block them from your news feeds so your algorhythm will give you better news sources.
