the turnaround ran far beyond what i expected, and there was no clear update on when the cards would be finished. i chose grading expecting a reasonable estimate, but watching the status sit without movement was frustrating. getting no useful timeline made the whole process feel harder than it needed to be.
Got about 15 Brady cards came back as eight and nines Jamar Gibbs, Jonathan Taylor and Cooper Flagg, but it seems like the cards I had so many of them seem to come from PSA themselves them grading them and then selling them. What a monopoly they have..
Business day 110 on my order when it was due back to me September 4th. Almost 2 months behind and no movement. Use TAG or BGS. PSA can’t even give an estimate of what’s going on. Complete incompetence on all fronts. Awful service.
The grading fee felt steep, and the added charges made the submission hard to justify. TOO much for the service I got.
Took twice as long to grade as expected. They state 75 days and 150 later it is done. But then they ship back with a label that basically says “collectible enclosed, steal me FedEx dirtbag. And the dirtbags did. So out money, time, a 40 year old card I was having graded to then hand to my son. Do not use this company
borderline scam compay. I spent like $300+ dollars to send in this card, which is clear as day fine. I wait MONTHS to get my card back, what do I see? PSA 1. PSA 1! Other then minor corner damage the card is virtually perfect, it looks compleltly fine! what a joke.
Customer support is completely unresponsive. Trust all the reviews you read about PSA and how bad they are. It's a complete mystery how they got to be so popular because they are horrible. If there are any issues with you card, it will get stuck in limbo and you wont' be able to do anything with your card forever.
I gave 3 cards to PSA at a recent show in June. Just now October they graded all 3 as 7 or lower. These were new cards out of a pack untouched. Perfect condition. I even bought the PSA required sleeves required to give them to PSA. They charge $75 each. This was my 1st experience to try this service..... and will be my LAST. 2000 Ultra #234 Tom Brady RC graded 7 1988 Fleer #17 Michael Jordon graded 6 2001 Upper Deck 68 Barry Bonds graded 6 I didnt expect a 10 but at least 8 or 9. I will never use this service and will tell anyone who listens this is PSA stealing money from people. No explanation why graded low........ no proof given, Nothing. This company and Service is total BS.
They took over 6 months with my card that I had sent in for grading and then they sent it back to me in the same thing that I sent it to them in says do not hold her come to find out it's a baseball card but they all come in different sizes I was unaware and since it was a hair smaller than a normal baseball card they could not holder it and still did not grade it and told me I still had to pay the shipping when they should tell you that up front that all baseball cards if they're cut differently will not be graded and sent back
Their service is slow. Their website barely works. When it finally does work, they want your personal data before you can use it. The PSA vault is a conflict of interest and a malicious business practice. They also forcibly grade valuable, gem mint condition cards to be lower hoping you resubmit and to protect their PSA vault asset values.
