Frustrating to bid on a lot, then see it disappear with no clear reason. The reply offered little explanation, so I was left uneasy.

The terms and extra charges left me wary. Someone did answer the phone, but that didn't settle my concerns. 😕
I cannot begin to describe the disappointment I have with Goldin. I sent them a high value card (Cam Ward 1/1 autograph superfractor) with the hopes and expectation that I would get the most value from them. Boy was I WRONG! This is my first time sending a high value card for auction and I did not know what to expect. You would think they would have better communication on their part regarding the process and expectations. The only communication from them was when I reached out and literally their only response was “give it some time”. Zero urgency, zero effort from them to get the most for my item. After fees, I BARELY made anything from a card that I believe should have made me at least a couple thousand. I absolutely feel like they do not have their customers/clients best interest in mind. If I could do it all over again, I would have just kept the card and sold it myself. They truly lost me thousands and I cannot be more disappointed in Goldin. Never again
Read the contract through, so many red flags. I’m glad I didn’t sign, or else I wouldn’t be able to criticize Goldin legally speaking. When you present them with the many issues of the contract you’re met with “but so many are international customers, and there’s never been an issue”. ‘Trust me’ bros. 2 stars for picking up the phone at least.
I am filing a complaint regarding the handling of a high-value trading card I consigned to Goldin Auctions in April 2026: a 2024 Panini Prizm Caitlin Clark True Rookie Green Pulsar Autograph /25. Before the auction, I specifically requested a higher starting bid to reduce the risk of the card selling at an unreasonably low price. The card was initially listed with a $1,000 starting bid, because "trust me bro". Goldin subsequently reduced the starting bid to $100. The card was also not sold within the approximately two-month timeframe I had been told to expect. I consigned it in April and it was ultimately sold only in September, approximately five months later, PSA had some issues, but why I am paying for that?. My concern is not simply that the final sale price was lower than I expected. I understand that auction results cannot be guaranteed. My concern is that they don't feel accountable. They should protect the customers, trying to sell their item at the best price possible, instead they just don't care, no explanations, no accountability. I trusted them, and I lost a lot of money. Unless you card is really high super end, don't ever think about selling with them.
Extremely high end card finished way below expectations. No reserves the auctioneer who took the card in over shot the expectations to get the card. Unless you are like the other reviewers and have the owners on your side, go private. Not worth it in the least.
Summary of Issue with Goldin Auctions - Lot I was the high bidder ($1000) for almost a week and I stayed focus on the lot for all the month! In the final hours before the auction ended, the seller changed some of the photos to try to attract more bidders. My $1000 bid was reasonable for a set that was described as limited to 500. However, after he changed the photos it became clear the cards were not limited at all, they are the unlimited version. He thinks he is sitting on a treasure, but he is not. Approximately 2 hours before the end of the auction, the lot was removed with the message "Issue beyond our control". I contacted Goldin support to ask if it was a description error and confirmed I was still willing to pay my bid ($1000 + premium). Goldin's reply: Unfortunately, we're unable to disclose the reason this item was removed from the auction. However, it is currently expected to be relisted. We appreciate your understanding. After that experience, I found Goldin has no real customer service - no phone, no live chat, only templated email replies. Ebay always better.
I bought some boxed Pokemon product and it was significantly not as described. It was heavily damaged and they only pictured one box of the two box lot. Both boxes were heavily damaged compared to the auction photos. Customer service lied and claimed all damage was shown in the listing which is literally impossible because the pictures I provided were of the box that was not pictured. They would not give me a return label. I've filed a dispute with my bank and I'm still waiting to hear back about that after nearly 30 days. Do not ever buy from this company, they are dishonest and untrustworthy.
Hands down, the best experience I could have imagined. I worked directly with Ryan Krupa, and from start to finish, Ryan and the team made me feel comfortable with the process. They didn't provide any false expectations or tell me anything I wanted to hear, but rather, they were fully transparent and went above and beyond. From the placement, to the media, to the people in the space they are in collaboration with. I can't recommend Ryan, or the team at Goldin enough. Not only do they have my business, but all of my future business and everyone I know that is in need of consignment for high end collectables. Great Job guys, Fantastic work! Thank you!
All I will say is why is this man selling human body parts on the show like it all good without any question the ethics of it,
