A failed install

What a letdown: the game files errored during setup, and the install never became usable. After the setup caused trouble on my computer, I stopped there.

A broken install

A broken install, then a security warning afterward. The game never became playable, so that was enough for me.

A dangerous download experience

I downloaded an installer expecting a game, but my browser settings and extensions were affected afterward, and my security software warned of malware. I also became concerned about unusual account activity, so I had to spend time securing my devices and accounts. The installation never delivered a usable game, and I would not risk using this site again.

⚠️ Warning: Avoid Apunkagames – Caused Browser Hijack & Account Hacks

I was searching for pirated games and came across the Apunkagames website. I downloaded a few Assassin’s Creed games and tried installing them. After running the setup file, my default browser extensions were removed. At first, I thought it was an issue with the browser itself, so I kept reinstalling Brave, but none of the setups worked for any game. A few hours later, my LinkedIn account was hacked (it took me two days to recover it after contacting LinkedIn support). My Ubisoft account was also hacked and the password was changed, though I managed to recover it immediately. I also received a few password reset emails from GitHub. After recovering my LinkedIn, I contacted their support and asked what could have caused this, even though I had 2FA enabled. They told me it was most likely due to session hijacking through cached data. ⚠️ Avoid this site at all costs, because it’s possible that your default browser will also be affected by this.
